Karier

Selesai menyelesaikan pendidikan di universitas, Moon So Ri merupakan bagian dari grup teater Hangnang pada tahun 1995-1997. Kemudian ia mengembangkan kariernya di dunia akting dengan berperan dalam drama yang berjudul Classroom Idea.

Setelah itu, ia juga muncul dalam drama dan film pendek sehingga ia mendapatkan popularitas dari perannya tersebut. Ia kemudian tampil dalam film yang berjudul Peppermint Candy sebagai Sunim di tahun 1999.

Tak berhenti disitu saja, ia semakin naik daun setelah membintangi drama berjudul Oasis (2002) dan A Good Lawyer’s Wife (2003). Dari dua drama tersebut, semakin banyak tawaran untuk membintangi drama ataupun film.

Ia tak hanya berakting saja tapi juga pernah menjadi sutradara dan penulis naskah dalam film pendek yang kemudian ikut festival. Diantaranya berjudul The Actress (2014), The Running Actress (2015), The Best Director (2015).

Saat kecil dipaksa membawa karya sastra klasik.
Saat kecil, ia melakukan pansori dan bermain biola dan gayageum.
Berada di agensi yang sama dengan Ryu Jun Yeol yaitu C-Jes Entertainment.
Pada masanya, ia merupakan rookie monster dan populer memerankan berbagai banyak drama dan film.
Pernah menjadi juri kategori Orizzonti dalam Venice Film Vestival yang ke-73.
Menikah dengan sustrada bernama Jang Joon Hwan pada 24 Desember 2006.
Kedunya bertemu saat Jang mengarahkan MV untuk Jung Jae Il yang berjudul Flower of Tears.
Suami yaitu Jang Joon Hwan merupakan rekan satu almamater saat kulian di Universitas Sungkyunkwan.
